Due to the insolvency proceedings the project had to be stopped for the present.
The innovative Continental Diesel aircraft engines surpass the well known avgas engines regarding safety, comfort, cost effectiveness and performance. The Continental Diesel engines are equipped with a redundant electronic motor management: the FADEC-system (Full Authority Digital Engine Control) without mechanical back up. The FADEC controls and surveys the engine, and utilizes a single lever control for power setting. In addition, the FADEC system logs all engine data for later analysis.
